Being of
paramount importance, the export department was
established in 1990.
The YCGSI
products have been exported to some countries of the
Horn of Africa, like, Somalia, Ethiopia and Djibouti
especially with Ghee and Detergents products.
Established
in 1994, the Al Saeed Trading Company has become
the representative and agent for all products of
YCGSI. Efforts have been made by the YCGSI and Al
Saeed to open new markets, improve new products, and
increase our shares in those markets. As a part of
its main goals, the company also has upgraded to use
a means of development and expansion of its
operations by using a highly state-of-the-art
technology available for increasing production and
satisfying the growing needs of the consumer at
both, domestic and foreign markets.
Strict
product quality methods have been adopted by the
company in order to maintain a track of high level
of performance and meet the highest international
quality standards, the quality assurance system was
then established, and the YCGSI received the 9001
ISO certificate on July 1997.
This has
given the YCGSI an ideal opportunity to develop its
products, meet the highest international norms and
move forward with a true test of success in the face
of foreign intense competitions infused with a
strong impetus to export our products and enter new
markets. Indeed we could reach countries like, Gulf
States, , Sudan, Libya and West Africa.
In a
considerable merit, the YCGSI has been registered
with the U.S Food and Drug Administration, (FDA)
pursuant to section 305 of the United Sates Public
Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and
Response Act.
No doubt
that one of the current economic developments is the
ever-increasing orientation towards the expansion of
business activities that exceed the borders of the
country.
The
practice of international business is not only a
substitute for the business growth, but it is a way
to determine and plan an international strategy for
the company. This has enabled some firms to change
their direction towards benefits from the world
market effectively and open new markets in front of
the world trade that will put it sooner or later in
the face of the world intense competition. For this
most firms have a motivation to expand their
businesses worldwide and YCGSI is one of these firms
that deals with these changes and put it as an
international strategy for its plans.
The
influence of competitors on the market choice has
motivated YCGSI and Al Saeed to get a sense of
competition feature over others and could overcome
them through the success of a competitor and get
ready to means to make the company to be outclassed
over others. This has also paved the way for the
YCGSI products to enter competition and a decision
has been then taken in this regard to make its
products more distinguished.
