November 2009. With the beginning of new-study year 2009/2010, YGSI, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, inaugurated a campaign for health enlightenment for students about the dangers of the infectious diseases and the protection methods and the importance of personal protection and the cleanliness of appearance among the elementary and secondary classes in a number of schools in the country.

In his words, Mr. Hisham Ali Mohammed Saed, the general manager of YCGSI, has declared that this program is one of the social activities to participate in the people's awareness of the significance of cleanliness and the protection of the body from diseases and epidemics which are spread in the environment. This activity is held with the spread of hemorrhaging fever and swine flue in many countries including Yemen, according to reports of the Ministry of Health. He added, this program targets the students of elementary and secondary classes in many schools in the main cities of the governorates.

The program enlightens them of the good methods for the protection from bacteria and infectious viruses. The program also includes publishing hundreds of posters and a number of brochures which aim to give an idea of how to be protected from such diseases. The company also distributed sample of Red Nasim Plus Toilet soap which is characterized with distinctive features against bacteria and parasites because it includes IRGASAN substance, which is considered as one of the best substances for body protection.

Worth-mentioning, YSGCI, in coordination with Health Office in Taiz, implemented, during the second half of 2009, a campaign against misquotes of Malaria and tuberculosis in many villages around the company as a part of its role towards the civil society.
